Post pandemic, with offices closed and people working from home. I decided working from home at Uyo will be more relaxing than working from home in Lagos.
Boy, it was an eye-opener. The farming in Uyo is unforeseen. Every virgin land, inside the fenced compound, by the fence, undeveloped plots, etc. folks are planting, yams in bags are big over there. Corn, Ugwu, cucumber, garden egg… nothing you will not see in houses. They have orange trees that are 1 meter tall but bearing fruits. Coconut trees, guava, and co. Food is so fresh and cheap in Uyo, people are not fully fed. Farming has been so underrated and I am now a convert. No land should be left uncultivated. Plant something today
